YES Board Members Visited Dnipro to Support Ukrainians

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, the Yalta European Strategy (YES) Board came to Dnipro to support Ukrainians in the eastern part of the country, learn about the current situation, and pass their analysis to international leaders at the Munich Security Conference where Victor Pinchuk Foundation and YES will hold the Ukrainian Lunch on February 19.

YES and Victor Pinchuk Foundation to Host the 5th Ukrainian Lunch on the Margins of the Munich Security Conference

On February 19, 2022, on the margins of the Munich Security Conference, Yalta European Strategy (YES) and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will host the 5th Munich Ukrainian Lunch, titled “Europe's Security is Decided in Ukraine. The aim of the Munich Ukrainian Lunch is to promote Ukraine on the global security agenda and underline Ukraine’s importance for Europe’s security and the international order.

“Time for the West to assume the worst”: Conclusions of the roundtable discussion “How to support Ukraine and deter Kremlin aggression”

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center and Yalta European Strategy hosted a roundtable discussion “How to support Ukraine and deter Kremlin aggression” in Kyiv. A delegation of retired US ambassadors and former government officials and experts focused on how Ukraine and its Western partners can work together to deter the threat of a new Kremlin offensive against Ukraine, which would also be a major blow against NATO, EU, and American interests.

During the recent YES Online Conversation, held on January 26, 2022, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman and President of Estonia 2016-2021, YES Board member, Kersti Kaljulaid focused on the unprecedented escalation along Ukraine’s eastern border and latest diplomatic engagements by the U.S., NATO allies and Russia.
