Anti-war coalition for Ukraine will continue to grow - Dmytro Kuleba

13 September 2022

The international anti-war coalition aimed at supporting the Ukrainian government will continue to grow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytrol Kuleba, has said at the 17th Yalta European Strategy (YES) Annual Meeting "Ukraine: Defending All Our Freedom", organised by YES in partnership with the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

“In the last three months we have given new impetus and brought new emotions to our relations with the West. Also, in parallel we began working more with countries in Africa, South America and Asia. This is a serious step in our foreign politics. We speak to these countries more and it looks like they hear us. And the anti-war coalition will continue to grow,” Kuleba said.

Kuleba expressed certainty that despite changes in Europe countries' governments the support of Ukraine will not weaken and ways could be found out of any complicated situation.

“We should not underestimate Russia’s capacity of multiplying problems and finding excuses for its actions. We also expect certain changes in governments and estimate the risks which might appear in this or that country. In those situations we will find a solution,” Kuleba said.

Kuleba also said the international support will become sufficient only when Ukraine fully liberates its territories from the occupiers.

“We highly appreciate the West’s support. Ukrainians will always remember those revolutionary decisions countries made in support of Ukraine. But I always reiterate: the support is sufficient only when Ukraine’s territorial integrity is fully restored,” Kuleba said.
