European Pravda is the first and the key news outlet in Ukraine solely dedicated to EU and NATO affairs, news from Europe, as well to the issues defining Ukraine’s role and place in the European family.
We cover decisions and discussions in the EU, Council of Europe and NATO structures, events all over the European continent and Transatlantic politics. We provide deep and detailed coverage of Ukraine's rapprochement with the European Union and the Alliance, as well as of European and Euro-Atlantic reforms in Ukraine. Another focus goes about international security and international trade.
European Pravda, established in 2014, was the first Ukrainian media bringing international issues beyond the scope of expert discussion, making them attractive for wider circle of readers. The media is internet-only, hosted at the website eurointegration.com.ua and published in Ukrainian with a translation into Russian.
With spot news and long-reads, op-eds and researches we proved to be the primary source of information about the EU, NATO and the Council of Europe for other central and regional mass media in Ukraine. Our coverage was among key public efforts contributing to the EU decision on visa-waiver for citizens of Ukraine – in exchange for implementing the Action plan, full of reform, including anti-corruption legislation.
European pravda was founded and still being managed by its employees - journalists with a great experience of coverage in European issues. The project is funded by international donors. Website operates in close cooperation with the web-group "Ukrainska Pravda" - the oldest and most respected in Ukraine group of news sites, founded in 2000 by journalist Georgy Gongadze.
