Yaroslav YURCHYSHYN is the Executive Director of Transparency International Ukraine and an advocacy manager in the Reanimation Package of Reforms (RPR). He works with the Parliament, government and the Presidential Administration to promote reform initiatives. As of today, there have been adopted 60 laws, which were drafted with the involvement of RPR experts. Additionally, in 2012-2014, Mr. Yurchyshyn taught lobbying and traditional and new media at the Institute of Political Education, the National Democratic Institute in the USA and the Institute of Leadership and Management of the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv. In 2014, he served as the Advisor to Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDCU) on general policy, anti-corruption initiatives, staffing and financial planning of the NSDCU, and worked as a Public Relations specialist for the TV channel and website EspresoTV. Mr. Yurchyshyn is a co-author of the Plan on Compliance with the Requirements of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. He obtained his degree in History and Archeology from the Ivan Franko Lviv National University in 2002 and completed the certified courses at the School of Applied Psychology of the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” in 2006. In 2008-2010, Mr. Yurchyshyn studied at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and earned an MA in Political Science.
