Chairman of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine
Leonid YEVDOCHENKO is a Ukrainian statesman and Lieutenant General. He is the current Chairman of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, holding the office since July 1st, 2015. Prior, he served as the Director of the Ukrainian Scientific and Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise of the Security Service of Ukraine in 2009-2013 and in 2014-2015. From 2006 to 2009, he was the Head of the Science and Technology Agency/ Department of the Security Service of Ukraine. Mr. Yevdochenko served in the Security Service of Ukraine as an officer in 1993-2006. He graduated from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine with a specialization in Public Administration in 2006 and from Kyiv Military Institute of Management and Communications of Ukraine with a degree in Wirefree Systems and Radio Communication in 1993 and received a Ph.D. in Public Administration in 2011. He was born on June 11th, 1971, in Chernobyl, Kyiv Oblast, Ukraine.
