President , International Centre for Baltic-Black Sea Studies and Consensus Practices
Iryna VERESHCHUK is the President of the International Center for Baltic-Black Sea Studies and Consensus Practices since 2016 and an Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science of the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University since September 2017. Prior, she was the Mayor of the Rawa-Ruska in 2010-2015, the youngest female mayor in Ukraine. Mrs. Vereshchuk is one of the developers of the draft law "On territorial communities in Ukraine" (portion on the current situation and prospects of formation). As the most active mayor of a small town, she received a scholarship from Open World organization and participated in the internship program at the U.S. Congress and in the activities of the local government bodies of Charlotte in North Carolina.
