Timchenko Maxim

Maxim TIMCHENKO is the CEO of DTEK. Since its inception in 2005, DTEK has transformed from a regional company in Eastern Ukraine into Ukraine’s leading energy group with а nation-wide scale of business and world-class corporate governance standards. It has maintained and diversified its vertically integrated assets in coal production and thermal generation. Under Mr. Timchenko leadership, the company adopted a long-term strategy which allowed it to become the leading and the most dynamic Ukrainian private gas producer and the third largest investor in renewable energy. DTEK supplies electricity to neighboring EU countries and partners with leading European energy majors on a number of strategic projects. Prior to DTEK, Mr. Timchenko worked at System Capital Management (SCM) from 2002, where he was responsible for the energy business. He began his career in 1998 as a consultant at PWC.
