Strauss-Kahn Dominique

Dominique STRAUSS-KAHN is the Managing Partner of Parnasse, and prior, he was the 10th Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund from 2007 to 2011. Previously, he served as a member of the French National Assembly and was a Professor of Economics at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris (2000-2007). Prior, he was the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry of France from June 1997 to November 1999 at the Jospin cabinet and before that he served as the Mayor of the city of Sarcelles. From 1991 to 1993, he served as the Minister of Industry and International Trade in the Cresson and Beregovoy cabinets. Mr. Strauss-Kahn was first elected to the National Assembly in 1986, where he chaired the Finance Standing Committee of the House from 1988 to 1991. Prior, he served as the Deputy Commissioner of the Economic Planning Agency (1981-1986). He began his career as an Assistant Professor and later as Professor of Economics at the University of Paris. Mr. Strauss-Kahn holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris, a Law degree from Paris X, Business Administration degree from HEC, Political Studies degree from IEP Sciences Po, and Statistics degree from Institut de Statistiques Paris VI.
