Chief Executive Officer , TIS Group of terminals
Andrey STAVNITSER has been the Chief Executive Officer of the largest port in Ukraine, TIS Group of terminals, since 2007. He started his career with TIS in 2001 as an assistant to the chief dispatcher and afterwards held various positions in different divisions of the company. He is also a co-founder of TIS together with his brother and two other partners. With TIS being the core business, Mr. Stavnitser has launched a number of other business and social projects. In 2014, he was granted an exequatur of Honorary Consul of Austria in Odessa Region by the President of Austria. In 2015, during the war, crisis and absence of financing, Mr. Stavnitser and his team signed an over US$150 million deal with Cargill to build a four-million-ton grain terminal with EBRD/IFC aboard. Mr. Stavnitser studied commerce in Harrow House School, United Kingdom. He obtained a degree in International Business from the University of Montana, Zug, Switzerland, and an Executive MBA from HCMS French Institute, Moscow. He also holds a degree in Management from Mechnikov Odessa National University, Ukraine.
