Ihor SMESHKO is a Colonel General and a Doctor of Technical Sciences, who has been a Professor of System Analysis at Air Defense Military Academy, Kyiv since 1992. Since 2012, he has been teaching the Information Wars and Warfare at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University, Kyiv. He has a rank of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine since 2004. Dr. Smeshko holds a Master in Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, a Master in State Defense Management from National Defense University, Kyiv, and a Master in Radioelectronics and a Ph.D. in cybernetics from Air Defense Military Academy, Kyiv. He was born on August 17th, 1955 in Khrystynivka, Cherkassy region, Ukraine.
