Economic Adviser , Holding Company International Economic Committee
Igor SHAROV is an Economic Adviser at Holding Company International Economic Committee. He has experience of working as a recreation therapist, head of trade union, and teacher at Kirovohrad Pedagogical Institute. Mr. Sharov held a number of senior managerial positions including the CEO of the "Inkopmark" company (Kropyvnytskyi), First Vice President of PJSC "Republic," and the Chairman of the Board of closed JSC “Intergaz” (Kyiv). He also served as a Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada, an Advisor to the President of Ukraine, and a Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. From 1995 to 2014, Mr. Sharov was a Member of Ukraine’s Parliament. He is an author and co-author of 194 legislative initiatives. In 1987, he graduated from the A.S. Pushkin Kirovohrad Pedagogical Institute with a degree in History and Social Sciences. In 1998, he received a degree in Economics from the Academy of Labor and Social Affairs in Kyiv. In 1991, Mr. Sharov finished his postgraduate studies at Kyiv State Institute of Foreign Languages. He also holds a Ph.D. in History.
