Sakharuk Dmitry

Dmitry SAKHARUK is the CEO of DTEK Energy. Mr. Sakharuk has received a bachelor degree with honours in Law from Kharkiv National Univeristy of Internal Affairs in 2000. The following year, he received a master degree with honours in Law Enforcement at the same university. In 2002, he obtained another master degree in International and Comparative Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law (USA). During his employment with DTEK, Mr. Sakharuk successfully completed the Energy of Leader programme, and a joint programme of the London Business School (UK) and DTEK Academy. Prior to joining DTEK, Mr. Sakharuk started his career at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P in 2008. In March 2010, he was offered a position of Deputy General Counsel at DTEK, and later in June was appointed as acting General Counsel with further appointment as DTEK General Counsel in May 2011. In August 2014, he obtained a position of Chief Operating Officer at DTEK Energy, and later, in October 2016, he was made acting Chief Executive Officer of DTEK Energy. Within a year, in September 2017, Mr. Sakharuk was appointed as a CEO at DTEK Energy.
