Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
Oleksandr SAIENKO is a Ukrainian statesman and politician who has been serving as the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine since April 14, 2016. Within Volodymyr Groysman's Government, he is responsible for the implementation of priority reforms and coordination of work of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Starting February 14, 2018, he has been serving as the Head of the working group on privatization, which was created by the government resolution dated June 24, 2015, No. 525. Additionally, he is a member of the Nominating Committee for the selection of top-managers of SOEs of high-importance to the economy of Ukraine. Mr. Saienko heads the Reforms Delivery Office under the Prime Minister of Ukraine. In April 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed him as a Chairman of the Coordination Council for Public Administration Reform. In 2014, Mr. Saienko worked as an advisor to the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine. In 2015, he headed the Secretariat of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He graduated from the Anton Makarenko Kyiv Professional and Pedagogical College and, later in 2006, from the National University of State Tax Service of Ukraine with a major in Jurisprudence. He holds a Ph.D. from the Legislation Institute of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
