Member of Parliament of Ukraine
Victoria PTASHNYK is a member of the Parliament of Ukraine, where she sits on the Committee on Economic Policy, and is a member of the Inter-Faction Association (IFA) Eurooptimists. She is also a member of the Constitution Committee of Ukraine and the Council on Judicial Reform. At the Parliament, Ms. Ptashnyk works to improve the business climate in Ukraine, solve crucial problems in the antitrust regulation, and introduce the world's best corporate governance standards into Ukrainian legislation. She is also involved in Constitution, Judicial, Intellectual Property Rights, and other major reforms. She participated in the drafting of the law on publication of Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) decisions, a law on increasing the efficiency over merger control, a law on simplification of service exports procedures, and a law on corporate agreements. Victoria is listed in the TOP-10 lawmakers-reformers by the analysis of the Reanimation Package of Reforms (RPR) and in the TOP-10 effective state officials and lawyers in 2017 by the Yuridychna Praktyka newspaper. She was also included in the TOP-10 reformers list among the Members of the Ukrainian Parliament in 2017 by the Delovaya Stolitsa newspaper.
