Oleg PROKHORENKO is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of UkrGasVydobuvannya (UGV) since June 2015. UGV is Ukraine’s largest natural gas producer, with ~15 bcm p.a. of production (~75% of Ukraine’s total), and one of the largest companies in Ukraine. Prior to UGV, he spent almost 8 years as associate principal, engagement manager, and consultant with McKinsey & Company in Kyiv and in Dubai. At McKinsey, Mr. Prokhorenko worked with the largest private companies and significant state institutions in oil and gas, power generation, metals and mining, and public sector on strategy development, operational improvement, and organization restructuring. He holds a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government (with honors) from Dartmouth College.
