Poroshenko Oleksiy

Oleksiy POROSHENKO is a member of Parliament of Ukraine, where he is a member of the Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy of Ukraine, the Head of Subcommittee on Land Tax, Property Tax, Other Local Taxes and Fees of the Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy, and the Head of the parliamentary group on interparliamentary relations with the Republic of Singapore. He is a representative of the political party "Petro Poroshenko Bloc" in the Verkhovna Rada. Prior to being elected to the Parliament of Ukraine, he held various leadership positions including the Vice Consul for Economic Affairs Department of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Shanghai, China, the Deputy of the Vinnytsia Regional Council, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Regional Council for Socio-economic development, budget and finance. Mr. Poroshenko received a scholarship to study at the business school INSEAD (Diversity Fund Scholarship), during which he spent summer interning at the bank Merryll Lynch and at the bank JP Morgan. Additionally, he received a royal scholarship to study at Eton College. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University and holds an MBA, master's degree in International Business, and BSc in Economics.
