Pellmar Jason

Jason PELLMAR is the Regional Manager for Belarus and Ukraine at International Finance Corporation (IFC). Based in Kyiv, he has been leading IFC’s investment and advisory operations in Ukraine and Belarus since June 1st, 2017. He is responsible for managing significant investment programs including over $3 billion of long-term finance in Ukraine and about $300 million in Belarus, and an extensive advisory program focused on improving the business environment, expanding access to finance, opening new markets and modernizing supply chains. Mr. Pellmar has worked in a wide range of regions and industries. From 2014 to 2017, he was responsible for new business development in the infrastructure, agribusiness, manufacturing and services sectors in Myanmar, Southeast Asia. He committed to IFC’s first infrastructure investment in Myanmar, a convertible loan to the country’s leading container terminal, and led an investment supporting the country’s first power project to be awarded via a competitive bidding process. Previously, he was based in Istanbul, Turkey, where he led several landmark infrastructure transactions in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa region. He oversaw new business development in the power sector in Eastern Europe.
