Valerii PEKAR is a lecturer at Kyiv-Mohyla Business School (kmbs), Ukrainian Catholic University (including Lviv Business School, School of Public Management, and Institute of Leadership and Management), the Open University of Maidan, and the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership. He is a co-founder of The New Country civic platform, a member of Public Administration Reform team, and a member of the board of directors of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). He consults state institutions in managing organizational changes. From 2014 to 2016, he was a member of the National Reforms Council and an advisor to ministers of economic development and trade. Valerii Pekar wrote 2 books and more than 250 articles on management, marketing, IT, and futurology. His book “Multicolored Management: Evolution of Thinking, Leadership and Management” is ranked as the bestseller among Ukrainian business books. He is also an active columnist for some media and author of blog “Ukraine: The European Frontier” at the New Eastern Europe web portal. Born in Kyiv, Mr. Pekar started his career in the late 80s as a software developer and was among the first wave of Ukrainian entrepreneurs since 1992.
