Omelchenko Vadym

Vadym OMELCHENKO is the President of Gorshenin Group. Since 2006, he has been the Coordinator of its Strategic Board, senior partner, and has been leading the "Leviy Bereg" Newspaper and internet portal LB.ua since 2009. The Gorshenin Group comprises three main entities: Gorshenin Institute, an independent non-profit analytical center; Gorshenin Consulting, a leading company in political advising and PR in Ukraine; and Gorshenin Media, a media holding comprising a network of news agencies in a number of Ukrainian cities, and news portal LB.ua. In 2005-2006 and 2008-2009, he served as an advisor to the Speakers of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. From 2000 to 2006, he served as the Vice President of Interpipe Corporation. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Omelchenko headed the group of advisors to the Vice Prime-Minister of Ukraine on economic reforms. He founded Veritas Law Firm and became its President. From 1996 to 2000 "Veritas" ranked as one the top ten law firms in Ukraine. He taught at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and is recognized an Honored Lawyer of Ukraine. He received a law degree from the Yaroslav Mydriy National Law Academy.
