Chairman , Central Election Commission
Mykhailo OKHENDOVSKYI is the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine and a member of the Ukrainian Association of International Law. Born on October 27, 1973, in Dubossary, Moldova, he graduated with honors from the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv in 1997 with a master's degree in International Law. Mr. Okhendovskyi began working in 1991 at the Norilsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant. From 1993, he worked for Proxen Law Company as paralegal lawyer and later in 2003 he served as Deputy Director. In 2002, he was the Head of Legal Department and later the Vice-President of the National Television Company of Ukraine. On February 17, 2004, the Ukrainian Parliament appointed Mr. Okhendovskyi as a member of the Central Election Commission. On June 25, 2010, Mr. Okhendovskyi was awarded the title of the Merited Jurist of Ukraine and on July 6, 2013, he was elected to his current position.
