President and partner , Institute for democracy and development "PolitA" and SIC group
Kateryna ODARCHENKO is the President of the Institute for Democracy and Development “POLITA” and the President and Partner of the SIC Group Ukraine. She is a political consultant, a member of the International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC), and a specialist in the field of communications and government relations. Since 2015, she has been the head organizer of the International GR Forum, which provides an opportunity for democratic, transparent and continuous dialogue between the government and business. In 2013, Ms. Odarchenko co-founded the Ukrainian Association of Professionals in the field of government relations and lobbying (UAGRPL) and in 2017 she was elected as its president. In 2011, she co-operated with the "Youth Preparation in Action" project, sponsored by the European Commission. Ms. Odarchenko has an open-ended column in numerous Ukrainian media sources including Channel 24, LB.ua, LIGA.net, Correspondent, Novoye Vremya, and 112 Ukraine. In 2017, she became a Laureate of the "Woman of the 3rd Millennium" Award in the Rating nomination. Ms. Odarchenko holds a degree in Genetics from the Biology Department of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, a law degree from the Economics Department and the Law Department of Kherson National University, and a Public Administration degree from the I.F. Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Additionally, she attended George Washington University for a post-graduate program in Political Management. She speaks English and Russian fluently, and Ukrainian is her native language.
