Yevhen NYSCHUK is the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, appointed on April 14th, 2016 and also he served previously in this position from February 27th to December 2nd, 2014. He is currently a member of Competition Committee on the selection of candidates to the administrative positions in the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. Prior, in 2014 - 2015, he was a member of the Competition Committee responsible for proposing candidates to the position of the Director of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine. He has been an actor of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater since January 20th, 2015, and an actor of the Kyiv Academic Workshop of Theater Art "Suzirja." He is known as “Voice of Maidan” for his activism in the Euromaidan movement and the Orange Revolution. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards including Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2005, “Kyiv Pectoral – 2014” Prize, and People's Artist of Ukraine in 2015. Mr. Nyschuk graduated from the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. He was born on December 29th, 1972 in City of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
