Honorary President , Kyiv School of Economics
Tymofiy MYLOVANOV is an Honorary President of Kyiv School of Economics (KSE). He is a co-founder of VoxUkraine, a group of global economists working on policy problems in Ukraine and has been a member of the academic advisory board of the KSE for several years. On July 7th, 2016, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine elected Dr. Mylovanov to the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), and since October 2016 he has held a position of the Deputy Chairman of Council of the National Bank of Ukraine. In 2014 and 2015 he took the leading places in the Forbes Ukraine ranking of Ukrainian economists who have achieved the greatest success in the scientific field. His research on game theory, contract theory, and institutional design has been published in major international academic journals like the Review of Economic Studies and the Journal of Economic Theory. He has taught at the University of Bonn, Penn State University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Mylovanov received his master’s degree in Economics from the KSE in 1999 and earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2004.
