Head of Department , Minister of Foreign Affaris of Denmark
Ambassador Lars Bo MOELLER was the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C. He has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark; most recently he served as the Head of Department, at the Stabilization and Security Policy Department (2009–2014) and prior to that, he was the Reorganization Project Manager and the Head of Department with reference to the Permanent Secretary of State (2009–2009). Ambassador Moeller also served as the Head of Department, Agency for Governmental Management, Customer Relations for the Ministry of Finance (2007–2009) and before he was a Deputy Head of Department, Foreign Policy Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003–2007). Ambassador Moeller also held an office of a First Secretary of Embassy at the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the European Union, Brussels, Belgium (1996-2000) prior serving as a Head of Unit for European Policy Department in the Department for Southern Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1996-2000). Ambassador Moeller has also served as an Associate Professor in public administration and political science of Euro Faculty at the Institute of Political Science and International Relations, Vilnius University in Vilnius, Lithuania (1995-1996). He holds a master's of Political Science from Aarhus University and a master's in Economy from London School of Economics.
