Member of the German Bundestag
Siemtje MÖLLER is a member of the German Parliament to which she was elected in September 2017. There, she is a member of the Defence Committee and of the Petitions Committee, and a deputy member of the Foreign Committee. She joined the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) in 2010. Since then she has been consulting member and later a member of the steering committee of the SPD Lower-Saxony. Prior to her election to the Parliament, Ms. Möller worked as a secondary school teacher for French and social studies at Oberstufenzentrum KFZ in Berlin from 2014 to 2016, and subsequently as secondary school teacher for French, Spanish and politics at Neues Gymnasium in Wilhelmshaven. She studied French, Spanish, and politics at Georg-August Universität Göttingen and completed internships at the United Nations Headquarter (New York), BBJ Consult Brussels, and the World Bank Group (Washington D.C.). Siemtje Möller was born on July 20th, 1983 in Emden and has two children.
