Senior Advisor , Morgan Stanley
Ihor MITIUKOV is the Senior Advisor to Morgan Stanley, where he has been working since 2008, and a Chairman of Supervisory Board of the National Depositary of Ukraine. From 2007 to 2016, he served as the Independent Director on the Board of Ferrexpo PLC, London. Mr. Mitiukov attained many accomplishments, while successively serving as the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine and the Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine for Banking and Finance (1994-1995). In 1995-1997, Mr. Mitiukov was Ukraine's Special Representative (with the Vice-Prime Ministerial status) to the European Union in Brussels. From 1997 to 2001, he was the Minister of Finance of Ukraine and, under his leadership, Ukraine entered the international capital markets in 1997. Mr. Mitiukov enriched his diplomatic background serving as the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 2002-2005. Mr. Mitiukov graduated from the Cybernetics Department at Taras Shevchenko State University of Kyiv and received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute of Economy at the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1985.
