Karasyov Vadym

Vadym KARASYOV is a political scientist, expert, and a politician. In 2003, he founded the Institute for Global Strategies (IGLS) in Kyiv and currently serves as its director. From 2010, he has served as the leader of One Center party, and in 2014 became a member of the Presidium of the One Center. In 2006 - 2010, he was an Advisor to the Head of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, and during 1999 and in 2001-2002, he was an Adviser to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine. Mr. Karasyov was a political technologist in the election campaigns of 1994, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007 in Ukraine. From 1997 to 2003, he was the Head of the Kharkiv Branch of the National Institute for Strategic Studies and previously was a lecturer of social and political sciences at the Department of Political Science of Kharkiv University in 1991 - 1997. Mr. Karasyov is the author of more than a century of scientific works and a co-author of political science textbooks. Throughout his career, he has published Thought With the Speed of Politics (2002), Thought With the Speed of Revolution (2005), Thought With the Speed of 2005. Evidence of a Political Scientist (2006), and Twilight of the Post-Soviet World (2012). He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Kharkiv National University and received a post-graduate diploma in political sciences. Mr. Karasyov was born on May 18th, 1956, in Korostyshiv, Zhytomyr region, Ukraine.
