Iuzhanina Nina

Nina IUZHANINA is a member of the Parliament of Ukraine, where she serves as the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Tax and Customs Policy. She is an author and co-author of 198 draft legislative initiatives that help reform the Tax Code and Customs Code of Ukraine. 58 of them have already become laws. These laws provide a tax exemption for the defense industry, simplify the administration of taxes to promote a better investment climate in Ukraine, simplify the issuance of license procedures in the sphere of international economic activity, increase the development of transportation market, introduce a tax on consumer waste dumping, address the issues of European cars usage, etc. In March 2018, she registered draft law №8157 "On National Bureau of Financial Security." It creates a single governmental institution that will have the power to investigate financial crimes. The majority of the Bureau's work will be analytical, which is less intrusive in the investigated companies' daily activities. Once it has been proven that the company was involved in financial fraud, the Bureau will begin a criminal investigation.
