Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Advisor to the President of Ukraine
Igor HRYNIV is a Ukrainian politician, political strategist, advisor to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, and an MP of Ukraine of I, IV, VI, VII, VIII convocations. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Information and Communication Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. From May 2016 to March 2017, he served as the Chairman of Petro Poroshenko Bloc Party. During the presidential elections of 2014, he was a leader of Petro Poroshenko’s campaign and later he was appointed as a Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine. Prior, he led Vitali Klitschko’s campaign in the Kyiv mayor elections in 2006. In 2005, he was the Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies. During the presidential election campaign of 2004, he was the Deputy Chief of Staff and worked on Viktor Yushchenko’s campaign strategy. Mr. Gryniv started his political career in the USSR in 1987. From 1988 to 1989, he led an NGO «Tovarystvo Leva» and co-founded the Narodnyi Rukh. He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry of Lviv University in 1983. In 1992, he took training courses for diplomatic personnel of the Kyiv Institute of International Relations. He received a second degree from the Law Faculty of the Kyiv National University in 1996.
