Hetmanczuk Victor

Victor HETMANCZUK is the President and CEO of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF). CUF started the Holodomor Mobile Classroom project in Canada three years ago, during which it has initiated 6 medical missions with Canadian doctors and nurses to the military hospitals in Kyiv and Odessa since 2014, and completed 5 missions with a Mobile Dental Clinic, providing dental care to orphanages in Ukraine. The foundation plans to implement 4 Veterans Rehabilitation projects for Ukraine in 2018. Mr. Hetmanczuk's business experience helped the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank move to a new facility that supplied all of Canada as well as the local 178 food banks. He served for 20 years on the Consistory of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada (UOCC), and for 10 of those years, he was the Treasurer. He is also the Founding President of the UOCC Foundation. He has 30 years of experience working as a Chemical Engineer in the petroleum sector in Canada. Mr. Hetmanszuk received a Bachelor of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
