Martin HAGSTRÖM is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Ukraine. He is a career diplomat for the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. Prior to his arrival to Kyiv in September 2016, H.E. Mr. Hagström served as the Ambassador for the Eastern Partnership from 2013 to 2016. Before that, in 2010-2013, he served as the Head of Division for Eastern Europe. His previous diplomatic postings include the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the European Union and the Consulate General of Sweden in Saint Petersburg. Before joining the diplomatic service, H.E. Mr. Hagström worked as a journalist.
