Sergiy GUSOVSKY is the Kyiv City Council Deputy, who was elected in 2014 representing the "Samopomich" party, and currently serves as its head. He ran for Kyiv mayor in 2015 local elections. Since 2015, Mr. Gusovsky has been a member of Standing Committee of Kyiv City Council on local government, regional, and international relations. During 1995-2001, he worked in investment and real estate development business in Kyiv. In 1995, he co-founded osteria "Pantagruel" and since 2011, he has been the managing partner of Sergiy Gusovsky's Restaurants, which includes osteria "Pantagruel," pizzeria "Napule," cafe "O'café," boutique bar "Biancoro," and a Georgian restaurant “Shoti.” Prior to joining the food industry, Mr. Gusovsky established a company that distributed satellite communication systems of the Inmarsat consortium. From 1988 to 1992, he served in the army as a science specialist at the Gagarin Cosmonauts Training Center in Moscow Oblast. Born on November 9th, 1966, in Kyiv, Mr. Gusovsky graduated with honors from Kyiv Military Aviation Engineering Academy with a degree in electrical engineering in 1988.
