Filipov Illia

Illia FILIPOV is a co-founder, CEO, developer, and physics teacher at online education platform EdEra that provides high quality, affordable, and interesting courses for Ukrainian people. He has been supporting the OSCE in creating their educational programs advising on the development and production of distance-learning courses for over three years. Additionally, he was an individual consultant for UNDP. Under his leadership, EdEra became a well-known social start-up with many successfully developed projects, such as massive open online courses for students, free interactive books on different topics and special educational projects. The list of projects includes a public project on renewing educational programs with the Ministry of Education, video recommendations program for Ukrainian teachers, and a course for elementary school teachers (New Ukrainian School). In 2017, Mr. Filipov received an award for the Ukrainian IT industry development and the Top 30 under 30 award from KyivPost. He graduated with a master’s degree in Applied Physics from Department of Radiophysics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2014.
