Deputy Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine
Oleksiy FILATOV is a leading Ukrainian lawyer, who is repeatedly recognized as one of the best Ukrainian practitioners in dispute resolution by international and national legal directories such as Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Legal 500, and Ukrainian Law Firms. Since July 2014, he has been serving as the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. He is responsible for the legal enforcement of the constitutional functions of the President of Ukraine, specifically the elaboration and implementation of judicial reforms and the legal representation of the President. Previously, he was the Head of Dispute Resolution Practice Group at Vasil Kisil & Partners, a law firm that he joined as an associated partner in 2003. Mr. Filatov started his legal career in 1996 as an intern and an assistant attorney in a law firm and later became a legal advisor at private practice. He studied international law and graduated with honors from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv, and received a master's degree in International Law and Spanish Translation in 1998. Mr. Filatov is a member of the International Bar Association, Users' Council of the London Court of International Arbitration, the Ukrainian Association of International Law, the Association of Ukrainian Workers, and Kyiv regional bar association. He speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Spanish.
