Ehnberg MARTEN is the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine. Previously, he has worked for the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, serving in numerous leadership roles including Chargé d’Affaires/Minister Counsellor at the Swedish Embassy in Armenia (2014 - 2016), Deputy Head of Mission at the Swedish Embassy in Ukraine (2010 - 2014), and Deputy Head of the Russia and Central Asia Division (2007 - 2010). Prior to joining the Ministry, Mr. Marten worked at the OSCE Project Co-ordinator Office in Ukraine as the Project Director of the OSCE project on elections and governance and later as the Head of Democratization Section. He received a bachelor's degree in English, Russian, and International Political Science at Stockholm University, and master's degree in Political Science from Department of Eastern European Studies at Uppsala University, Sweden in 2001.
