Chief Expert , RPR’s group on tax reform
Vladimir DUBROVSKIY is a Senior Economist at CASE Ukraine, Chief Expert at the RPR’s group on tax reform, and the Nestor Group’s member. His areas of interest are political and institutional economics, business climate, economic reforms within privatization, economic behavior of enterprises in transition, governance, corruption, and interdisciplinary topics. He has worked with the World Bank, UNDP, GDN, OECD, WEF, Transparency International, and with the international programs of technical aid to the governments of Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Mr. Dubrovskiy is an author of a number of research papers and books on the issues of transformation in Ukraine. Additionally, he participated in the drafting of several governmental and political programs. His research focuses on issues of privatization, corruption, economic reforms, small and medium-size business, and deregulation, etc. At the end of 2017, he published a book, From Dignity to Prosperity: How to Build an Economic Miracle on the Ukrainian Ground. Mr. Dubrovskiy has 7-years experience in managing private sector business operations in various positions, up to the CEO of a small firm. Since 1997 he worked at the HIID/CASE project on macroeconomic reform in Ukraine and later became affiliated with CASE-Ukraine. Prior, he worked in consulting and business training, business software development, and economic policy analysis at the media. Mr. Dubrovskiy holds an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics.
