Oleksandr DOMBROVSKYI has been a member of Ukrainian Parliament since 2012. He has been an acting Chairman of the Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety of the Verkhovna Rada, previously serving as the First Vice-Chairman, and an Advisor to the President of Ukraine. In 2014, he became a member of Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations of the Verkhovna Rada. Prior to being elected to the Parliament, he served as the Head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration in 2005-2010 and was the Mayor of Vinnytsia in 2002-2005. Mr. Dombrovskyi served as a Deputy of Vinnytsia City Council and as a Deputy of Vinnytsia Regional Council. He was awarded as Honored Economist of Ukraine in 2007. He received an engineer's degree in automatics and telemechanics from the Vinnytsia Polytechnic Institute in 1984, a master's degree in International monetary relations from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 2003, and a PhD. in economics from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2004.
