Oleksandr DANCHENKO is the Chairman of the Committee for Informatization and Communications, Parliament of Ukraine. He was born on November 14th, 1974 in Kryvyi Region and graduated high school with honors. In 1997, he obtained higher education at the Faculty of Radio Technologies at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Mr. Danchenko founded a telecommunications business while he was a student. Later, in 1999-2000, he was an intern at the company EutelSat in France. In 2004, he finished the course at the Institute of administrative governance of telecommunications TEMIS in Canada. At 22, he became the Head of the company of satellite communications, STS. He co-founded the satellite operator, Datasat, and was a CEO of this company till the moment of creating Datagroup in 2003. Since then, Mr. Danchenko was a CEO of Datagroup. In 2014, he left the business sector and was elected to Ukrainian Parliament as a member of political party "Samopomich," where he is now the Chairman of the Committee on Informatization and Communications.
