Burakovsky Igor

Igor BURAKOVSKY is the Head of the Board of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting, an independent economic think-tank that he joined in 2002. Professor Burakovsky worked as Research Fellow at Birmingham University in the United Kingdom, Economic Planning Agency in Japan Institute for International Affairs, and was a Fullbright Scholar at Stanford University in the USA. He began his professional career as a lecturer at Kyiv State University. His research interests include economic reforms in transitional countries, international trade, and trade policy. Professor Burakovsky graduated with honors from Kiev State University in 1980, received a master's degree in Economic Sciences in 1985 and a doctorate in Economic Sciences in 1999.
