Borodianskyi Volodymyr

Volodymyr BORODYANSKYI is the CEO of StarLightMedia and the Head of STB channel. Currently, StarLightMedia is the largest media group in Ukraine. It includes 6 channels — STB, ICTV, Novy Channel, M1, M2, «OTSE» — and other companies united by the production and distribution of high quality content and events for mass audience. StarLightMedia gathers the largest share of the TV viewers’ attention in Ukraine and the group's share is 26%. In 2004 Mr. Borodyanskyi became the CEO of the STB TV channel. Since that, STB has been increasing its audience every year, from 3% in 2004 to 9.4% in 2017. Since March 29, 2012 Mr. Borodyanskyi has been combining the management of both STB channel and StarLightMedia Group. He was twice awarded the special reward of the Television Prize Teletriumph. In 2000 he became the head of the department of "Alfa-bank" media assets management. On this position, he was responsible for the implementation of such projects as "Novy Channel" , "Nashe Radio", "Moskovsky Komsomolets v Ukraine". Since 1998 he has worked as the commercial director of the newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets v Ukraine". Mr. Borodyanskyi graduated from the Finance and Economics Faculty of Kyiv National Economic University.
