Bohutskyy Oleksandr

Oleksandr BOHUTSKYY is the Director-President of International Commercial TV & Radio Company (ICTV), the first commercial TV channel in Ukraine. He was appointed to this position in 2000, serving previously as the General Manager. Additionally, he is a board member of the EastOne investment advisory group. Since March 2012, he has been managing the assets of the company’s business portfolio. From November 2009 through March 2012, Mr. Bohytskyy served as the Head of StarLightMedia Group. Previously, he was the Head of the Press Center at Tavriyski Igry (Tavria Games) Company, where he was an unfailing host of the eponymous music festival. In 1994, he co-founded the newspaper Express, one of the most successful media projects in Western Ukraine. Mr. Bohutskyy began his career in journalism in 1991 as an editor of the first independent Ukrainian radio station Radio Nezalezhnist (Independence Radio). He holds a Ph.D. in Legal Sciences from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Department of International Law and Business.
