
Andriy Yermak was born on November 21, 1971, in Kyiv. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in international law. From 1991 to 1995, he worked as a lawyer in the private sector, and in 1995 co-founded the law firm “B.E.R.S. and Partners.” In 1997, he established an International Law Company, continuing his legal practice and civic activities for many years. From May 21, 2019, to February 11, 2020, he served as Assistant to the President of Ukraine. By Presidential Decree of June 21, 2019, he was appointed a member of the National Investment Council, and from October 7, 2019, to June 19, 2020, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of the State Concern “Ukroboronprom.” On February 11, 2020, he was appointed Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, a position he continues to hold.
