Shamil Krutkov is a Ukrainian officer, professional serviceman, and commander of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodnyi Yar” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is a graduate of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy. He advanced from cadet to commander of one of the most renowned and combat-capable brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before his appointment in 2024 as commander of the 93rd Brigade, he served as its deputy commander. He took part directly in combat operations in eastern Ukraine, particularly in Donetsk and Chernihiv regions, as well as in the battles for Bakhmut. He has been decorated with state awards, including the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, 2nd and 3rd Class (2022) and the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine” (2021).
