Background: He's around 30 years old and studied at the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatization, enrolling in 2015. While still a student that year, he joined a group of volunteer developers working on what would become the Delta project, later moving into military service dedicated full-time to it. Current role: He's the chief architect and leader of Delta, Ukraine's real-time battlefield management system, used across the country's military to coordinate operations. Impact: Under his leadership, the Delta system has reportedly contributed to destroying around $15 billion worth of Russian equipment, processes roughly 600,000 enemy objects a month, and coordinates about 106,000 drone missions. His team has grown more than fivefold since 2022, and members have completed NATO training and testing protocols, including work enabling Delta to receive data from F-16 fighter jets. NATO's Kyiv office has recognized the Delta team for its "significant innovative potential" and coalition-level capability. Recognition: Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksiy Viskub has called him "one of those unsung heroes enabling our effective resistance." His stated goal is seeing Delta fully deployed across all of Ukraine's security and defense forces.
