Serhii Varakin, Battalion Commander of Unmanned Systems, 58th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014, he has been a volunteer and used the money from selling his business to support the army. In 2015, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a volunteer. In 2016, he became the commander of a sniper unit that remained without rotation in the combat zone on the most intense fronts in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He has been awarded the state honor — the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, 3rd class.
