Radio Era is the first non-state news radio station in Ukraine. Its first broadcast was made on 12 July 2002. Radio Era broadcasts round the clock in 46 cities and towns of Ukraine, covering 97% of the country’s territory. The average audience of the station is almost 500,000 listeners.
Radio Era’s mission – to broadcast news from Ukraine and the rest of world. Station’s best known programmes are Vid Pershoi Ososby (“First Person Singular”), Rodeo (“Rodeo”), Rankovyi Ispyt (“Morning Test”), Tchas Kul’tury (“An Hour of Culture”), Overtime (“Overtime”) and Kolo Zapytan (“Round of Questions”).
