Ron VAN ROODEN is an Assistant Director in the International Monetary Fund’s European Department and is currently mission chief for Ukraine. He joined the IMF in 1994, and since then, he has worked in the areas of transition, post-conflict, and emerging market countries in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Asia. Prior to IMF, Mr. van Rooden worked at the Dutch Central Bank. He is a national of the Netherlands.
