Executive Director , Tomorrow's Lawyer
Andriy VYSHNEVSKY is a co-founder and the Executive Director of Tomorrow's Lawyer, an NGO that organizes professional development programs for lawyers. He is a National Consultant to the Council of Europe, OSCE and UN Women, a Member of the Working Group on the Reform of the Bar and Legal Aid System at the Council on Judicial Reform, and a Member of the Board of the Ukrainian Bar Association. He is an expert on leadership, change management, and the institutional development of civil service and justice and has more than 13-years experience working in senior positions in public administration. Mr. Vyshnevsky is one of the initiators and authors of the new Law "On Civil Service." In 2012–2017, while working at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, he built and led the national-wide system of state-funded legal aid, which was recognized internationally as one of the most successful justice sector reforms. In 2017, he resigned from the position of Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine due to significant differences in values with the Minister. Mr. Vyshnesky is an Honored Lawyer of Ukraine (2016) and an alumnus of the Ukrainian School of Political Studies (2017). He graduated with honors from Kharkiv State University in 1999 and later from Kyiv University of Law in 2005. Mr. Vyshnesky holds master's degrees in Law and Biology.
