Novynskyi Vadym

Vadym NOVYNSKYI is a representative of the Opposition Bloc. As a Russian native, he was granted Ukrainian citizenship, which enabled him to enter politics in 2012. In 2013, he became a Member of Parliament of Ukraine and was later re-elected in 2014. Prior to joining politics, Mr. Novynskyi founded Ukraine’s Smart Holding Group in 2006, a group of metallurgical companies, where he was the President and then its Chairman. Mr. Novynskyi is the sole benefactor of the International Charitable Foundation in Honour of the Protection of the Holy Virgin. The fund was set up in September 2008 to enable Smart-Holding to effectively and systematically implement charitable and humanitarian initiatives across Ukraine. Before moving to Ukraine in the mid-1990s, Mr. Novynskyi worked for various companies in Russia including Lukoil North West. He graduated as a Management System Engineer from the Leningrad Academy of Civil Aviation in 1985.
