Liakh Victor

Victor LIAKH is the Head of East Europe Foundation (EEF), a Ukraine-based non-profit organization that seeks to mobilize public and private resources for social and economic development in Ukraine. EEF implements various projects related to e-governance and e-democracy, local economic and social development policy, digital media and social networking, open data and public oversight innovations, capacity building for civil society organizations and development of the public sector as a whole. Mr. Liakh actively promotes innovation in civil society and governance areas, shares best practices, and advises policymakers at the local and national levels on how to promote the importance of technology innovation and enhance the public’s and media’s understanding. In 2005-2008, Victor served as the Executive Director of the Child Well-Being Fund Ukraine, a daughter organization of the ChildFund International Inc., where he worked in various capacities beginning in 2001. He has also worked for the Ukrainian State Center for Social Services for Youth (1996-2000) and UNICEF (2000-2001).
